"Did you sleep well?" she asks, lifting aside the curtains on his windows. He blinks a few times in the light, and sits up in bed, thinking about the question.

"Had dreams," he mumbles, staring at the blankets. "About... Americans."

She looks down, then closely at him, pushing his hair out of your face.

"It's almost gone," she murmurs. "That's fortunate."

She rolls up his sleeves, looking at his arms as well. He doesn't move – the room seems strangely alien.

But it was a dream. Never left and came back here.

"What did the Americans do in your dream?" she asks, as he climbs out of bed.

He pauses. "They gave me food."

She looks down at him questioningly for a moment, then smiles slightly. "Did you take it?"

"No," he lies quietly. He feels her eyes on him for another moment, but then she seems to look up again.

"I'll let you get dressed then. Come out when you're ready, ok?"

He nods faintly, and watches her leave the room, shutting the door as she stepped out into the living room.
